A collaboration with Jason Huff, Lifeless things (lifelessthings.com) is a meditation on fame, iconography, and time created in 48 hours for Art Hack Day NYC 2013: God Modeand installed at 319 Scholes gallery.

The project was inspired by Shelley’s poem Ozymandias
and byzantine iconography, and we algorithmically merged famous visages from the past and present with various corporate logos to create contemporary Icons, which were then etched into wood via laser cutter, painted, and placed on a pole. For the installation, we projected the site onto a large wall and surrounded the projection with the new poles and lots of sand, extending the desert expanse of the website into the gallery itself.
