I was referred to your project when I was working on mine, and I like what you did and I think it's a great project. In terms of extending the senses, yes, I think we're closely aligned, but I feel like, aesthetically, we are coming from slightly different places.
Cheers,
Nick.

As I posted when I saw this on MAKE -- interesting -- I have silicon coated neodymium magnets implanted in my finger tips and can feel EM fields... sounds like this is basically the same thing, but with non-implanted hardware.

Hello Nick Hasty!

Yes, I would have to agree with the part you wrote about throat singing helping both meditation and sleeping good. I have been throat singing for about three years. I am kinda sorta pretty good now in the two low voices. And I am just back from Tyva-- the global epicenter for throat singing.

Learning how to throat sing has clearly helped my speaking voice and articulation and has also clearly helped my natural voice singing and articulation in my church choir every week... By the way, my Presbyterian church has had me provide the Special Workship music of a Sunday four times with the throat singing way... Purty cool!

Thank you for writing about the magical world of Throat Singing!
