I’m a freelance developer, consultant, and musician. I was born in Canton, Ga, but now live in Brooklyn, NY. I received a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Georgia and a Master’s degree from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program in the Tisch School of the Arts. For 5 years I served as Director of Technology for Rhizome at the New Museum. I’ve spoken at South by Southwest, Reasons to be Creative, Social Media Week NYC, and the Inter-Society for Electronic Arts.
As a consultant, I specialize in full-stack development, including building social media sites, API development (including client libraries), online video, HTML5, and sql/no-sql database management. I’ve built large-scale websites that are used by thousands every day, but I’m just as comfortable coding as I am conversing with clients, leading a project, brainstorming features or ideating a product.
